Archival Note
The Gerbino, Napoli, and Armao workshops were the three dominant producers of decorative maiolica in late 19th-century Sicily. Their presence together in a single Sardinian villa suggests an owner with either strong Sicilian connections or considerable means — or both. Professional documentation is recommended before any restoration work begins.
